General Contracting Services

The City of Apopka is seeking bids from general contractors to provide construction services for various projects on an as-needed basis. The work will be divided into three separate lots, and contractors may be awarded for multiple lots. The city may choose any one awarded contractor in Lot #1 to perform projects of $5,000 or less, and projects over $5,000 up to $50,000 will require at least two quotes from awarded contractors in Lot #1. Lot #2 will require a minimum of three quotes from awarded contractors, and Lot #3 will require quotes from all awarded contractors. The contractor must have a valid Florida General Contractor License and sufficient financial support, equipment, and organization to execute the services. * Key services include: * Renovation projects * Program-wide projects * Infrastructure projects * Construction-related activities, including new construction, modifications, renovation, and repairs * General and specialized construction activities, such as demolition, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, security/fire systems, roofing, tile, cabinetry, carpentry, millwork, framing, drywall, doors, windows, caulking, hardware, demolition, excavation, ceilings, masonry, and workstation modifications or other incidental related work
