Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Health Administration, Network Contracting Office 5, is seeking sources for preventative and corrective maintenance of medical test equipment at the Washington DC VA Medical Center. The contractor will provide all labor, personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and services necessary to perform service and maintenance. The contract will include preventative maintenance according to manufacturer recommendations, corrective maintenance, and parts and materials. The contractor must use OEM certified parts and service and provide proof of competency.
• The contractor shall provide a copy of the service report, complete with test data, to [email protected] within three business days after completion of any services.
• The contractor shall provide a telephone line available during normal business hours for technical support.
• The contractor shall safeguard patient health information.
• The contractor shall report to the Biomedical Engineering Department any issues with disclosed or unsecure patient health information.
