Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) Parts and Repairs For Autocar

The City of Sacramento is soliciting bids to award a minimum of one contract to a maximum of three contracts to authorized service providers for Autocar that can provide Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) parts and services for the City's fleet. The contract will be for a period of one year, with the option to renew. The contractor will be required to provide OEM parts and repairs for City vehicles and equipment on an as-needed basis. The contractor must have a clean and safe working environment, be an established and factory-authorized OEM parts dealer and/or service center for Autocar, and maintain adequate local inventory of popular items. • The contractor will be required to provide written estimates for repairs and obtain approval from the City before commencing work. • The contractor will be required to inspect all work for proper completion and correction of reported concerns. • The contractor will be required to maintain the minimum levels of information to assure that the correct and most current parts are used in service repairs. • The contractor will be required to provide technical support information and maintain the required levels of mechanical and electronic tools for the service levels and products for which they are certified.
