Treatment Facilities Progressive Design Build

The Placer County Water Agency is soliciting statements of qualifications and pricing proposals from entities interested in contracting to serve as the Design-Builder for the design and construction of the Water Treatment Facilities Progressive Design Build Project. The project involves the design and construction of water treatment facility improvements, including the replacement of chemical piping, coating of concrete, and replacement of pumps. The project will be implemented in multiple phases using the progressive design-build delivery approach. • The project scope includes the evaluation of PCWA's proposed first subset of maintenance and rehabilitation activities, the development of a preliminary design report, and the identification of efficient design and construction approaches. • The project budget is anticipated to be $5.4 million for Phase 1 and Phase 2 services. • The project schedule is subject to revision, but it is expected that the Design-Builder will revise the project schedule in collaboration with PCWA based on actual expected level of effort for each scope element.
