Description
The County of Glenn is soliciting sealed bids for construction rental equipment with an operator to provide maintenance equipment rental with an operator under a task order agreement. The agreement will be for a term ending December 31, 2026. The contractor will provide construction rental equipment with an operator for use by the county for maintenance projects on county roadways and property throughout Glenn County on an as-needed basis. The contractor will be required to provide all necessary resources and services to execute the scope of work, including equipment, operators, and transportation. The county will provide basic criteria for project design, record drawings, and specifications, and will mediate with landowners for access to and provisions for the contractor to enter upon private and public lands.
• The contractor will be responsible for providing construction rental equipment with an operator.
• The contractor will be required to provide a proposal rate sheet and pricing index.
• The contractor will be responsible for keeping accurate payroll records.
• The contractor will be required to comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including prevailing wage laws and workers' compensation laws.
• The contractor will be required to have all necessary insurance and licenses.
• The contractor will be responsible for defending, indemnifying, and holding harmless the county, its officers, employees, and agents from any claims or liabilities arising out of the contractor's activities under the agreement.
