Special Inspections and Material Testing

Cleveland Community College is seeking qualified firms or individuals to provide Special Inspections and Material Testing services for the construction of a three-story, 45,422-square-foot Student Center. The services required include verification of soils, structural steel inspection, high-strength bolting, welding, and other inspections. The selected firm will be responsible for providing a team with the necessary qualifications and experience to perform the required inspections and testing. • The project involves the construction of a three-story mixed-use building with a deep foundation system, structural steel, precast concrete, composite decking, metal framing, masonry, and a concrete slab-on-grade. • The selected firm must have experience in NC higher education, county, or state projects. • The firm must provide a cover letter, firm background, project team qualifications, relevant experience, inspection and testing approach, unit pricing, quality control procedures, references, and proof of insurance. • The deadline for receipt of Statements of Qualifications is February 24th, 2026.
