Description
The VA North Texas Health Care System intends to sole‑source a commercial laboratory contract with CareDx, Inc. to provide AlloMap Heart gene‑expression testing and AlloSure Heart donor‑derived cell‑free DNA testing for veteran heart‑transplant patients. The contractor must deliver a full service package—including test kits, specimen handling, training, result reporting, and compliance with CLIA and VA security requirements—over a base year with up to four one‑year optional extensions. The anticipated contract value is low‑volume (≈20 tests per year), but the scope includes full laboratory operations, logistics, and ongoing technical support.
• Provide AlloMap Heart and AlloSure Heart testing services (≈10 of each per year).
• Supply all labor, materials, specimen kits, training, and technical support, maintaining CLIA certification and VA security compliance.
• Perform testing within published turnaround times, deliver results, and support VANTHCS personnel; contract runs June 3 2027 – June 2 2032 (base + 4 options).
