Description
The City of Los Angeles, Department of Cannabis Regulation, is issuing this Request for Information (RFI) to conduct market research on software platforms and products that support commercial cannabis application intake, licensing, compliance, and regulatory program administration for local government agencies. The purpose of this RFI is to identify vendors, available products, system architectures, implementation approaches, and best practices currently offered in the marketplace.
• The RFI seeks information on vendors' experience with commercial cannabis licensing systems, including system architectures, technical approaches, and cannabis-specific functionality.
• The RFI also seeks information on vendors' proposed solutions, including system configuration, customization, implementation, and deployment services.
• The City intends to use the information received through this RFI to inform the development of a future Request for Proposals (RFP) for a commercial cannabis licensing system.
