NFPA Annual Hose and Ground Ladder Testing

The Town of Nantucket is seeking qualified contractors to provide annual testing services for fire hoses and ground ladders in accordance with NFPA standards. The successful bidder will perform services from August 1, 2026, to June 30, 2027. The scope of work includes fire hose testing, ground ladder testing, and providing comprehensive written reports. The contractor must have demonstrated experience with NFPA service testing of fire department equipment, proof of insurance and liability coverage, and all technicians must be trained and qualified in accordance with NFPA standards. • The contractor must perform annual service testing of all fire hoses and ground ladders. • The contractor must provide all personnel, equipment, and test apparatus needed to conduct testing. • The contractor must record and document test results, including pass/fail status and any deficiencies. • The contractor must provide a comprehensive written report, including itemized inventory, pass/fail status, and corrective recommendations.
