MEDICAL-SURGERY 3 RENOVATION

The County of Monterey, on behalf of Natividad Medical Center, invites qualified contractors to submit sealed bids for the Medical-Surgery 3 Renovation project. The project involves upgrading the existing Medical-Surgical Inpatient Unit on Level 3 of the Natividad Medical Center hospital. The scope of work includes adding charting stations to each patient room and hallway stations, converting select private rooms to semi-privates, upgrading lighting at patient headwalls, upgrading finishes at toilet rooms, and upgrading finishes to patient rooms and select portions of public corridors. • The project requires a mandatory pre-bid meeting attendance. • The project is subject to compliance monitoring and enforcement by the California Department of Industrial Relations (DIR). • The project specifications, drawings, and other contract documents are available electronically and may be downloaded for free from the Monterey County website. • The project is estimated to have a floor area of approximately 10,770 square feet. • The project requires a valid Class B General Building Contractor’s License and OSHPD 1 certification at the time of bid opening.
