The Department of Veterans Affairs, Margaret Cochran Corbin VA Campus, intends to award a sole source contract to LPIT Solutions, Inc. for their TrackCore Inventory Management Software Licenses. The software is used in surgical environments to manage implantable devices, high-value surgical supplies, and lot and serial number tracking. The contract will be for a base year plus two option years, with a firm fixed price. The contractor will provide two TrackCore Operating Room Software Annual Licenses, full access to the TrackCore OR inventory management platform, software updates and version upgrades, technical support, system maintenance and security updates, and TrackCore RFID Annual License for ten RFID units.
Key features of the software include:
• Implantable device management
• High-value surgical supply management
• Lot and serial number tracking
• Expiration date monitoring
• RFID-enabled real-time inventory visibility
• Recall management
• Regulatory documentation and reporting
The software has direct clinical, safety, and operational impact on Veterans receiving surgical care, and its unavailability could lead to increased risk of implant errors, delays in recall notification, and reduced OR efficiency.
