IFB Routine and Non-Routine Boiler Maintenance, Repairs, Testing, and Inspection Services in Alpine, Amador, Calaveras, and Tuolumne Counties

The California Department of Transportation is seeking bids for routine and non-routine boiler maintenance, repairs, testing, and inspection services in Alpine, Amador, Calaveras, and Tuolumne Counties. The contractor will be responsible for furnishing all labor, tools, equipment, travel, and incidentals necessary to provide the required services. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder. • The contract requires a valid and current registration with the Department of Industrial Relations (DIR) and a C4 – Boiler, Hot Water Heating and Steam Fitting Contractor license issued by the Contractors State License Board (CSLB). • The contract also requires compliance with prevailing wage rates, workers' compensation, and unemployment insurance. • The contractor must have a valid Motor Carrier Permit (MCP) issued by the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) if required by California Vehicle Code Sections 34601 and 34620. • The contract includes provisions for small business preference, DVBE participation, and insurance requirements.
