Services: Biomedical Imaging and Medical Image Analysis Scientist

The National Institutes of Health (NIH) is seeking a biomedical imaging and medical image analysis scientist to work on developing noninvasive imaging approaches with high spatial and temporal resolution. The scientist will work on projects related to atherogenesis and metabolic syndrome in humans, and must have extensive expertise in biomedical imaging and medical image analysis. The ideal candidate will have a PhD with 20+ years of experience in biomedical imaging and medical image analysis research. Some key responsibilities and requirements include: • Developing new chemical spectroscopic techniques for involved organs • Improving imaging methodologies such as free breathing methods and high contrast techniques • Applying principles, concepts, practices, and standards associated with biomedical imaging and medical image analysis • Being self-motivated and driven to achieve milestones and exceed goals with minimal direction • Possessing a PhD with 20+ years of demonstrated expertise in biomedical imaging and medical image analysis research
