Public Safety Vehicle Upfitting

The County of Ontario is seeking bids for Public Safety Vehicle Upfitting. The project involves upfitting various types of vehicles, including marked patrol sedans, marked patrol SUVs, unmarked sedans, unmarked SUVs, and marked pickup trucks. The upfitting includes the installation of emergency equipment such as sirens, lights, and radios. The vendor will be required to provide proof of authorization to provide Federal Signal factory warranty service. The County will evaluate bids based on best value, considering factors such as technical qualifications, facility security, schedule/turnaround time, price, location of the vendor's facility, and past performances/references. The contract will be for a term of 12 months, with the option to renew for up to two additional 12-month periods.
