ON CALL PAVEMENT AND PATCH REPAIR FOR WATER AND WASTEWATER DEPARTMENT

The City of Colton is seeking a contractor to provide on-call pavement and patch repair services for the Water and Wastewater Department. The work includes mobilization, traffic control, grind and overlay, application of hot mix asphalt, and patch repair. The contractor must have a minimum of 5 years of experience and have completed at least 2 similar projects in the past 5 years. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder. • The contractor must possess the necessary licenses and certifications, including a Class A, C-12, or C-32 contractor's license. • The contractor must have experience with street paving, trench restoration, alley paving, slurry seal, pavement patch repair, and grind and overlay existing asphalt. • The contractor must comply with all applicable labor laws and regulations, including prevailing wage rates and workers' compensation insurance. • The contractor must provide a bid bond in the amount of 10% of the total bid price. • The contractor must provide a performance bond and payment bond in the amount of 100% of the contract price.
