Description
Judson Independent School District is seeking a qualified vendor to provide comprehensive fire‑extinguisher inspection, service, maintenance, and related documentation for all district facilities. The contract covers routine annual inspections, hydrostatic testing, replacement of defective units, servicing of fire hoses and kitchen suppression systems, and delivery of detailed service reports and inventory records. The vendor must employ licensed Texas technicians, maintain required insurance, and adhere to NFPA standards and district safety policies over an initial two‑year term with possible one‑year extensions.
• Perform NFPA‑10 compliant inspections, recharging, hydro‑testing, tagging, and certification of all portable extinguishers.
• Service fire‑hose and kitchen suppression systems where applicable, and provide replacement units only with district approval.
• Submit comprehensive service reports and maintain an up‑to‑date, editable inventory within three business days of each visit.
• Provide temporary loaner extinguishers when units are removed, ensure continuous coverage, and guarantee a minimum one‑year warranty on labor and parts.
• Meet strict insurance, bonding, licensing, background‑check, and work‑hour requirements; all work performed 8 a.m.–4 p.m., Mon‑Fri.
