Description
The Defense Logistics Agency is seeking bids for the supply of UGR-E Heater Trays, which are used in Unitized Group Rations. The contract will be for a period of 5 years, with 5 consecutive tiered delivery periods of 365 days each. The estimated yearly quantities are 210,000 for Heater Tray, Assembled, 30,000 for Heater Module, Boil-in-Bag (BIB) Egg Module, and 120,000 for Pull Tabs. The contractor must provide a technical proposal, including a Product Demonstration Model (PDM), and a business proposal, including pricing information. The evaluation criteria will include technical acceptability, price, and past performance.
• The contractor must provide PDMs for all items, which will be evaluated for compliance with product specifications and sensory characteristics.
• The contractor must provide a Quality Systems Plan, a Food Defense Plan, an Integrated Pest Management Plan, and a Small Business Subcontracting Plan, if applicable.
• The contractor must demonstrate the ability to provide the full S&S quantity and meet the delivery requirements.
• The contractor must have a written code of business ethics and conduct, and must comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
