The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking information from potential contractors for the provision of Clinical Information Systems (CIS) Databridge Suite Software. The software should be able to provide bidirectional interoperability with VistA and CPRS using HL7 standards, and offer the capability to interface with external ICU or Anesthesia Record Keeping (ARK) systems. The system should also be able to function as a middleware interface, capable of filtering, transferring, and synchronizing clinical data to and from VistA without requiring adoption of any proprietary or single-vendor clinical information system.
Key features of the required software include:
• Bidirectional interoperability with VistA and CPRS using HL7 standards
• Capability to interface with external ICU or Anesthesia Record Keeping (ARK) systems
• Middleware interface capable of filtering, transferring, and synchronizing clinical data to and from VistA
• Support for near real-time exchange of physiological monitoring data, vital signs, anesthesia or perioperative data, and clinical documentation inputs
• Modular integration components to support flexible and scalable deployment
• Compatibility with multiple commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) clinical systems that comply with HL7 standards
