The Air Force Research Laboratory is seeking to purchase a VibroFlex QTec Fiber Optic Laser Doppler Vibrometer System to measure the dynamic response of structural components in its thermoacoustic test facilities. The system must utilize Polytec's proprietary QTec laser technology and be compatible with the existing laser vibrometry hardware. The system will be used to support multiple hypersonic research and development programs.
Key features of the system include:
• Ten single-point sensor heads equipped with fiber-optic lenses
• A VibroFlex Connect Front End to serve as the system controller and data output module
• Polytec MDE controlling software to manage system configuration, data acquisition, and analysis
• The ability to operate at a 1550 nm wavelength to bypass destructive optical interference
The system will be deployed across AFRL/RAVZ facilities, with eight sensor channels permanently integrated into the Large Thermoacoustic Test Facility and two sensor channels allocated to the Small Thermoacoustic Test Facility.
