General Tree Maintenance Services

The City of Norfolk is seeking a responsible vendor to provide general tree maintenance services, including tree pruning and removal, in accordance with the terms and conditions of this solicitation. The services will be performed on an as-needed basis, and the contractor will be required to have a Certified Arborist on staff and comply with ANSI A300 pruning standards and ANSI Z133.1 standards for worksite safety. The contractor will also be responsible for providing all necessary equipment and personnel to complete the work. Key aspects of the job include: * Providing tree pruning services to reduce risks to public safety and maintain the overall health and structure of trees on City property * Providing tree removal services to reduce risks to public safety by removing dead, dying, and diseased standing and fallen trees on City property * Complying with all federal, state, and local laws and regulations, including those related to environmental protection and labor standards * Providing a pricing schedule for all services, including tree pruning and removal * Maintaining accurate records of all work performed, including the location, number of trees, species, size, and type of service performed
