A - Previous Addendum DAIRY ROAD WATERLINE ABANDONMENT

The City of Victoria is seeking a contractor to abandon an existing 16" waterline on Dairy Road. The project includes cutting and plugging the existing waterline, reconnecting existing services to another 16" waterline, and furnishing and installing a new fire hydrant assembly and 16" cut-in valve. The project also requires patching concrete pavement and performing other necessary work to complete the project. The City has established a target commencement date for construction activities as 10 days after the Notice of Proceed letter, and the projected completion date is estimated to be 60 days. The proposed budget for construction costs is $59,000.00. • The project requires the contractor to obtain all applicable permits and inspections, provide performance and payment bonds, and provide the City with manufacturers' warranties and operations and maintenance manuals for all equipment installed. • The contractor must also comply with all federal, state, and local accessibility standards. • The City reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive any or all formalities or technicalities. • The evaluation process will consider factors such as the cost of the work, proposed schedule, past performance on similar projects, available resources, overall qualifications, corporate history, and references.
