Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking vendors for two updated Ear, Nose, and Throat (ENT) examination microscopes with a domestic preference. The microscopes must meet the salient characteristics described in the Statement of Work, including floor stand, power cable, top plate, dust cover, handles, optics carriage with inclined swing arm, and LED illumination. The contractor shall provide and deliver two complete microscope systems, perform on-site installation, calibration, and functional verification of all equipment, and provide user training for ENT staff.
* The microscopes will be used for ENT examinations and minor surgical interventions at the Albany Stratton VA Medical Center.
* The contractor must deliver the equipment, install and assemble it in the clinic, and complete user training within 90 days of order.
* Biomedical Engineering will conduct incoming inspection, safety testing, and configuration review, and Logistics will complete formal receiving.
* The contractor must provide full documentation delivery and ensure conformance with VA technical and regulatory requirements.
