ON-CALL MATERIALS TESTING AND SPECIAL INSPECTION SERVICES

The City of Richmond is seeking qualified testing and inspection firms to provide an on‑call, three‑year professional services contract for materials testing, special inspections, and related engineering support across a variety of public‑works projects. Up to multiple firms will be awarded contracts, each limited to $300,000 for the initial term with an optional two‑year extension worth up to $100,000 per year. The work includes soil, concrete, asphalt, structural steel, masonry, and other special inspections, requiring certified personnel, rapid response capability, and compliance with city insurance, licensing, and sanctuary‑city ordinances. • Provide on‑call testing and inspection services for capital improvement, maintenance, port, wastewater, and transportation projects. • Must hold relevant certifications (ACI, ICC, AWS, Caltrans, etc.) and maintain specified insurance coverage. • Submit detailed fee schedule, relevant experience, and compliance certifications electronically by August 28 2026.
