RFQ - As-Needed Construction Support Services

The County of El Dorado is establishing a three‑year Qualified List of firms capable of providing on‑call professional construction‑support services for a variety of County projects, many of which involve Caltrans‑related bridge and roadway work. The solicitation seeks firms with extensive experience in resident‑engineer, structure‑representative, inspection, surveying, and other field‑staff roles, and requires submission of detailed staff qualifications, firm experience, a work‑plan, and references. The award will result in an ID/IQ agreement with task‑order issuance as needs arise; there is no guaranteed minimum workload, but firms must be ready to mobilize quickly and comply with prevailing‑wage and DBE requirements. • Provide as‑needed construction‑support engineering staff (Resident Engineers, Structure Representatives, inspectors, surveyors, etc.) across El Dorado County. • Demonstrate substantial experience with Caltrans Division of Local Assistance projects and other state‑funded construction programs. • Submit a comprehensive qualifications package (staff resumes, firm experience narrative, work‑plan, fee schedule, references). • Successful firms will be placed on a three‑year Qualified List and may receive task orders for individual projects. • Compliance with California prevailing‑wage laws, DBE nondiscrimination, and County insurance/bond requirements is mandatory.
