Description
The State of Tennessee is seeking to award up to three contracts for Forestry and Agricultural Supplies. The successful bidder will provide supplies to all authorized users at the same price and under the same terms and conditions. The contract will cover six categories, including Protective Clothing and Gear, Measuring and Surveying Tools, Firefighting and Safety Equipment, Outdoor Tools and Equipment, Hydration and Cooling Supplies, and Miscellaneous Items. The supplier must work with the State to eliminate the purchase of items that do not fall into their respective categories and catalog subcategories. The supplier must also provide a customer service team and maintain an up-to-date online catalog.
Some key points to consider:
• The contract will require the supplier to provide discount percentages for 100% of the categories listed in the Evaluation Model.
• The supplier must communicate manufacturer's discontinuation of any products to the State Contract Manager in writing within at least thirty calendar days of the item's discontinuation.
• Order fill rates will be maintained at 98% or greater for all orders.
• The supplier must provide a toll-free telephone number, a toll-free facsimile number, and an email address to contact the customer service team.
• The supplier shall provide the State of Tennessee an emergency contact person for use in times the State either declares a State of Emergency or anticipates an emergency such as a severe weather event.
