RFSQ Design-Build - Anaheim West Tower - Elevator Modernization

The City of Anaheim is seeking a Design-Build Entity (DBE) to modernize five existing elevators at the Anaheim West Tower. The project includes design, engineering, construction, and commissioning of the elevator modernization. The DBE will be responsible for all building modifications to provide a code-compliant project. The City is utilizing a two-step process, with the first step being the Request for Qualifications (RFQ) and the second step being the Request for Proposal (RFP). The DBE will be selected based on best value, and the contract award is expected to be made on April 21, 2026. • The project involves modernizing five existing elevators at the Anaheim West Tower. • The DBE will be responsible for design, engineering, construction, and commissioning of the elevator modernization. • The project includes all design, engineering, permits, construction, material, labor, special observation, inspection, testing, verification, procurement, and installation of all required equipment. • The City is responsible for applying to all permits and paying for related permit fees. • The DBE is responsible for preparing all required permit packages and modifying the packages per the permit reviewing comments.
