Description
The Texas Department of Criminal Justice is requesting bids to establish a purchase order for the procurement of vegetable potato cutters. The cutters should have a nickel-plated ductile cast iron frame and handle, and a stainless steel cutter. They should be hand-operated and have the specifications of the Vollrath manufacturer, part number 47714. The delivery location is the TDCJ Facilities Central Warehouse in Huntsville, Texas. The bidder must provide the best available delivery and quote freight F.O.B. destination, prepaid and allowed.
* The bid must be submitted in a sealed envelope with the bid opening date, bid number, and purchaser's name annotated on it.
* The bidder must certify that they are eligible to participate in this transaction and have not been subjected to suspension, debarment, or similar ineligibility determined by any federal, state, or local governmental entity.
* The bidder must comply with all terms and conditions, including security procedures, when making deliveries to correctional facilities.
* The bidder must provide a point of contact for the submitted bid response, but this will not be recognized as or accepted in lieu of the authorized signature requirements.
* The TDCJ reserves the right to immediately remove and/or refuse entry to any individual who has violated the above restrictions.
