Description
The State of Hawaii Department of Education is seeking qualified vendors to furnish and deliver supplemental fresh produce (fruits, vegetables, and cut/peeled items) to school cafeterias across all islands. The solicitation is divided into eight geographic “lots” (Oahu Windward, Oahu Leeward, Hawaii West, Hawaii East, Maui, Molokai, Lanai, Kauai). Each lot requires one LOT of assorted fresh produce as defined by commodity codes 311991 and 424480. Bids must be submitted electronically via HIePRO by 4:30 PM HST on 21 Oct 2026, with required paper copies submitted within five business days after the deadline. Vendors must be registered in the Hawaii Compliance Express (HCE) system and provide all statutory certifications. The award will be a firm‑price contract; the selected vendor will be responsible for quarterly reporting and a transaction fee of 0.75 % (capped at $5,000) per award.
