Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking information from qualified vendors for the maintenance and support of the Short Range Paging System at the C.W. Bill Young Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center. The contractor will be responsible for providing annual maintenance, updating the paging system hardware, and ensuring continuous operation of the system. The contractor will also be required to provide training to designated personnel and perform onsite visits to ensure proper operation of the components. The period of performance will be a 12-month base period with two 12-month option periods.
Some key requirements include:
* Providing maintenance support for the paging system and its backup system
* Updating the paging system hardware on servers and designated workstations
* Ensuring continuous paging system operation and providing 24/7 telephone technical support
* Providing a web-based reporting solution for the local VA EM to notify vendor and document issues
* Complying with Section 508 standards for electronic and information technology
* Complying with VA Critical Security Controls and implementing a Zero Trust security approach
