Description
The City of Kirkwood is seeking qualified contractors to perform a comprehensive upgrade of South Kirkwood Road from Monroe Avenue to the BNSF Railroad. Work includes installing new curb, sidewalk, and curb ramps, milling the existing pavement for a fresh overlay, adding drainage improvements, and completing pavement marking and signage extensions. Bidders must be on the Missouri Department of Transportation’s Qualified Contractor List, provide a 5 % bid bond (or certified cashier’s check), and comply with prevailing‑wage and OSHA 10‑hour safety training requirements. No second‑tier subcontracting is permitted, and the contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder.
