Acquisition of Jess Automated Western Blot System

The National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH) is seeking a Jess Automated Western Blot System, which is an automated capillary-based immunoassay system. The system must provide automated capillary-based size-separation and immunodetection workflows, chemiluminescent and dual-color fluorescence detection, RePlex sequential probing, and integrated Compass software for standardized quantitative analysis. The acquisition includes the system, warranty service upgrades, comprehensive operator training, and freight and handling. The system will be used for quantitative characterization of protein molecular weights from denatured lysates. • The system must automate traditional Western blot steps and provide true quantitation to support reproducible, standardized, and efficient protein analysis. • The system must include a warranty service upgrade and comprehensive operator training. • The system must be delivered to the NIH Campus in Bethesda, MD. • The evaluation will be conducted using the Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) method.
