RFP 26-002 - UPS Systems for Network Closets

The Stillwater Area Public Schools is seeking proposals for the purchase, installation, and configuration of Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems to support networking equipment across 44 internal network closets. The UPS solution must support the full load of the networking equipment installed in each closet, provide a runtime of at least 30 minutes at full load, and offer future-proofing for additional equipment. The contract period is estimated to be from July 1, 2026, to June 30, 2027. Key features of the UPS system include: • Support for the full load of networking equipment in each closet • Minimum 30-minute runtime at full load • 25-30% headroom for future expansion • Rack-mountable with hot-swappable batteries • Network management card with SNMP/HTTPS monitoring capabilities • Lithium battery technology preferred The proposal must include a detailed project plan, pricing, and references for similar UPS deployments in K-12 or comparable environments.
