CFX Duet Real-Time PCR System and Accompanying Software

The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) is seeking a quotation for the provision of three CFX Duet Real-Time PCR Systems and one CFX Maestro Software 2.3 for Windows PC. The systems must have a minimum of a one-year warranty from completion of installation and must include training for new employees. The software should be compatible with the CFX Duet Real-Time PCR System and have features such as multiplex amplification, melt curve and end-point analyses, and customizable configuration. Some key features of the required systems and software include: • 96-well block and 2-color detection plus FRET • Thermal gradient enables optimization of multiple temperatures in a single assay • Peltier-driven thermal cycler with a maximum ramping speed of 5°C/sec • Optical system allows excitation and detection of up to two fluorescent dyes in a single reaction well • Software features such as multiplex data display, gene expression analysis, and customizable reports The delivery location is the USDA, ARS, SEA, Honey Bee Breeding, Genetics, and Physiology Research Laboratory in Baton Rouge, LA.
