Wailuku-Kahului WWRF Process & Facility Improvements, Phase 2 - Electrical Improvements

The County of Maui is seeking bids for the Wailuku-Kahului WWRF Process & Facility Improvements, Phase 2 - Electrical Improvements project. The project includes the demolition of the existing distribution board MDB-1 and MCC-2, installation of a new distribution panelboard MDP, installation of a new automatic transfer switch (ATS), installation of a new emergency panel (EM), relocation of VFD-1 and VFD-2, and reconnection of all existing electrical loads. The project requires a non-mandatory pre-bid meeting and site inspection. The bid documents are available via the Public Purchase website. • The project is located at the Wailuku-Kahului Wastewater Reclamation Facility. • The project requires the furnishing of labor, equipment, materials, supplies, and appurtenances. • The project has a total duration of approximately one week, with 2-3 days of intermittent shutdowns. • Temporary power shall be provided to the Administration Building for the full duration of the project. • The bid bond shall be equal to at least five percent (5%) of the total amount of the bid submitted. • The bid documents include technical specifications, plans, and proposal forms.
