Fleet Lubricants, Chemicals, and Additives

The Smith County Emergency Services District 2 is seeking bids for Fleet and Equipment consumables such as Lubricants, Chemicals, and Additives. The contract will be for a term of one year, with the option to extend for three additional one-year periods. The successful bidder will be required to provide the specified products and services, including delivery and pickup of waste oil and antifreeze. The District reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive informalities or defects in proposals. • The contract will be awarded to the responsive, responsible bidder who submits the best value proposal based on the specifications and criteria published in the RFP. • The successful bidder will be required to provide a certificate of insurance and to comply with all applicable laws and regulations. • The District reserves the right to terminate the contract if the successful bidder fails to perform or if the contract is deemed to be in the best interest of the District. • The contract will be subject to the availability and appropriation of sufficient funds required to meet any award obligation extending beyond a twelve-month period.
