Lee Street Substation Civil Construction

The Greenville Electric Utility System (GEUS) is soliciting proposals from qualified contractors for the civil construction of the Lee Street Substation. The work consists of the demolition and construction of civil site improvements, including all materials and incidentals as identified in the attached documentation. • Demolition and removal of existing structures and materials • Site clearing and grubbing • Excavation and backfilling • Construction of substation yard and access drive • Installation of flexible base and concrete pavement • Erosion control and traffic control measures • Implementation of safety protocols and quality control measures The project requires a contractor with at least 10 years of experience in similar projects. The contractor will be responsible for providing submittals, monthly reports, and other documentation as required. The project is expected to start in the third quarter of 2026 and be completed by the first quarter of 2027.
