Notice of Intent to Sole Source, Rees Temperature Sensitive Medical Product Monitoring System

The Health Readiness Contracting Office (HRCO) intends to award a sole source contract to Rees Scientific Corporation for the preventive maintenance, repair, validation/calibration, hardware, and system software support/upgrades of the Government-owned TSMP Monitoring Systems located at the Ireland Army Health Clinic in Fort Knox, KY. The contract will be a firm fixed price purchase order. The TSMP Monitoring Systems must be continuously monitored to ensure that storage ranges are between 2-8 Degrees Celsius. • The contract is for a sole source basis under the authority of Title 41 U.S.C. §1901(e)(2) as implemented in FAR 13.106-1(b)(1) • The contract is for the provision of highly specialized services • The contract is for the maintenance and support of Government-owned equipment • The contract is subject to the rules and regulations of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR)
