Notice of Intent to Sole Source to UxC, LLC

The United States Energy Information Administration (EIA) intends to award a sole source contract to UxC, LLC for data subscription services, including access to the "Nuclear Power Outlook" and other related reports. The contract will be for a base period of 12 months, with four 12-month option periods. The EIA requires these services to satisfy the Department of Energy Organization Act of 1977, which mandates the preparation of annual reports on energy use and supply trends and projections. The services include: • Nuclear Power Outlook (NPO), which tracks nuclear power developments worldwide • UxC Requirements Model (URM), which provides annual forecasts for uranium, conversion, enrichment, and fuel fabrication requirements • StoreFUEL, which details recent cask vendor licensing milestones and updates on licensing activities • SpentFUEL, which covers new market and political developments in the nuclear fuel cycle All of these reports are mission-critical for the EIA to fulfill its requirements.
