Description
The Alabama Department of Agriculture is seeking a quote for a Bio Vista Imager Microscope or Equivalent to be delivered to the Thompson Bishop Sparks Diagnostic Laboratory. The microscope should have various features such as research level compound microscope, 10x, 40x Infinity Phase Plan objectives, and a 4K digital camera. The scope should also have the ability to save images via USB flash drive and SD card, and transmit camera feed via WIFI connection. The vendor should provide onsite setup and training of parasitology staff, and a 5-year inclusive warranty covering mechanical and electrical components.
• The microscope must be delivered, installed, and users trained within 2 weeks from receipt of purchase order.
• The microscope must be calibrated onsite, including measurement calibration, computer interface, and software.
• The vendor should replace the microscope with a loaner unit during repair time interval in the event of microscope failure.
• The State of Alabama is exempt from paying sales tax, and an exemption letter will be furnished upon request.
