Description
The National Weather Service (NWS) is seeking a contractor to provide and install a metal-to-metal roof overlay at the NWS Weather Forecast Office (WFO) in Melbourne, FL. The contractor will be responsible for all labor, equipment, and materials necessary for the installation. The period of performance is 60 days from the notice to proceed, and the work must be completed as soon as possible. The contractor must also comply with the terms and conditions outlined in the attached SF 18.
• The contractor must provide a completed and signed Construction Order Certifications and other statements of quoters with their quote.
• The contractor must also provide a payment bond or irrevocable letter of credit, unless their quote is under $35,000.
• The contractor must acknowledge receipt of any amendments to the solicitation prior to the submission deadline.
• The contractor must comply with the Davis-Bacon Act and other applicable laws and regulations.
