Notice of Intent to Sole Source Beckman Coulter Service Agreement

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention intends to award a sole source firm fixed price purchase order to Beckman Coulter, Inc. for a five-year service agreement. The agreement is for the Beckman Coulter 8X7 On-Site Field Support "Total Plus Support Agreement" for the six Coulter DxH 560 instruments, which perform Complete Blood Count measurements as part of data collection in the National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (NHANES). • The service agreement is for a period of five years. • The agreement is for the support of six Coulter DxH 560 instruments. • The instruments are used for Complete Blood Count measurements in the National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (NHANES). • The government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of Revolutionary FAR Overhaul 6.103-1 (SAP).
