Description

The Washington State Health Care Authority (HCA) seeks a contractor to deliver the professional‑development component of the Mental Health Assessment for Young Children (MHAYC) Workforce Collaborative. The award will fund up to $350,000 to provide DC:0‑5™ training, related administrative support, outreach, and an online resource hub for Apple Health Medicaid providers and allied professionals across Washington. The contractor must employ or subcontract at least one certified DC:0‑5™ trainer, manage virtual registration platforms, conduct a series of virtual and occasional in‑person trainings, and produce monthly, quarterly, and annual reports. The work is slated to begin July 2026 and run for a one‑year period, with possible two‑year extensions. • Deliver DC:0‑5™ clinical and overview trainings (≈ 4–7 events) plus supplemental workshops and technical assistance. • Manage registration, marketing, data collection, and reporting requirements; maintain a web‑based resource hub. • Provide subcontracting oversight, insurance, and compliance with Washington state nondiscrimination, DEIB, and HIPAA/PHI rules.

Budget estimate

$300,000 – $350,000

The contract caps at $350,000 for the first fiscal year, with a typical split of $305,000 direct costs and $45,000 indirect costs. Assuming a competent contractor can meet the scope without substantial overruns, the expected earnings would fall near the ceiling. A realistic range is roughly $300‑$350 K, depending on the proportion of indirect cost recovery and any optional extensions.
