SHUTTLE SERVICE AT THE TRENTON -MERCER AIRPORT

The County of Mercer is seeking bids for an Airport Passenger Shuttle Service at the Trenton-Mercer Airport. The service will provide transportation from the Passenger Terminal Building to the Airport's parking lots. The County anticipates using this service approximately twelve hours a month, with a guarantee of three hours of service provided to the awarded contractor. The contract will be awarded for a period of six months, with the option to extend for an additional six months up to two years. • The shuttle service will operate on an on-call, as-needed basis, seven days a week, including holidays. • The contractor will be required to provide one bus with a minimum capacity of 16 passengers, with functional heating and air conditioning, and equipped with a two-way radio or telephone for constant communication with the Trenton-Mercer Airport. • The contractor will be responsible for providing complete maintenance for all vehicles used in the program, including daily vehicle safety checks, routine maintenance, and major repairs. • The contractor will be required to have a Drug & Alcohol Abuse Policy in place, which must be approved by the County prior to contracting. • The contractor will be required to provide proof of business registration and insurance, including worker's compensation, commercial general liability, and automobile liability insurance.
