Description
The State of Colorado Governor’s Office of Information Technology (OIT) is seeking proposals from qualified vendors for Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) goods and services. The contract will be for a period of one year, with four optional one-year extensions. The vendor will be responsible for providing a full-lifecycle solution for power distribution and backup systems, including hardware procurement, professional services, maintenance, and monitoring. The vendor must be an authorized seller and service provider for enterprise-grade UPS hardware and must have experience in the lifecycle management of critical power infrastructure.
Key aspects of the job include:
• Providing UPS goods and services to OIT-supported agencies
• Performing installation, maintenance, and monitoring of UPS and PDU systems
• Providing a standardized Preventative Maintenance program
• Offering emergency support and repair services
• Ensuring compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and OIT’s internal security and safety frameworks
• Providing a bench of qualified vendors capable of reducing lead times for emergency repairs and new equipment deployments
