6525--Siemens MAGNETOM Vida/Vida Fit MRI System or Equal

The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is seeking a contractor to provide a Siemens MAGNETOM Vida/Vida Fit MRI System or an equivalent product. The system will be used by the Radiology Department to detect irregularities and potential life-ending ailments in areas such as the central nervous system and the cardiac system. The contractor must provide a product that meets the salient physical, functional, or performance characteristics specified in the solicitation. The contract will be awarded to the responsible offeror whose offer is most advantageous to the Government, considering price and other factors. • The product must be delivered to the VA Tucson Healthcare System within 30 days of the contract award. • The product must comply with the Buy American Act and the Trade Agreement Act. • The contractor must provide an Authorized Distributor Letter/Memo from the manufacturer. • The contractor must provide verification that their items are not Gray Market. • The contractor must indicate whether the items are manufactured by a small or large business.
