Catholic Priest Services- FMC Devens

The Federal Bureau of Prisons is seeking a Roman Catholic Priest to provide Catholic services to inmates at the Federal Medical Center Devens in Massachusetts. The contract will include conducting Sunday Catholic Mass on a weekly basis, hearing confessions, and conducting Catholic Mass on Special Holy Days of Obligation. The contractor will be expected to participate in institution-scheduled Roman Catholic Mass and provide one hour of Mass at the Federal Prison Camp and one hour of Mass at the Federal Medical Center each week. The contractor must possess a Baccalaureate Degree from an accredited college or university, with a major in some form of religious studies, and have a minimum of three years of documented and continuous experience as a minister with their faith community. • The contract will be for a base year with 4 option years • The contractor will be paid for each session, with a maximum of 2 sessions per week • The contractor must adhere to all regulations prescribed by the institution for the safety, custody, and conduct of inmates • The contractor will be required to attend an orientation program prior to assuming institution involvement • The contractor must qualify for entry into the facility and have a complete background investigation conducted by the Bureau of Prisons
