MIDDLESEX COUNTY TRANSPORTATION AND MOBILITY PLAN

Middlesex County is seeking a consultant to provide professional planning services to develop deliverables for the Middlesex County Transportation and Mobility Plan Update. The plan will unify and build upon various County initiatives, integrating policies and findings from previous plans. The consultant will be responsible for developing a holistic, forward-looking vision for the County's transportation future. Key tasks include project management, data collection and analysis, and development of a comprehensive plan. The consultant should have experience with large-scale transportation planning projects in New Jersey and a thorough knowledge of state, federal, and local transportation laws and regulations. • The plan should reflect ongoing efforts from various County initiatives, such as the InvestSmart, Forward Together, and the County's human services transportation plan. • The consultant should have experience with public clients and communicating with the public about transportation planning work and findings. • The consultant should possess excellent verbal and written public communication skills. • The plan should be aligned with the NJTPA's Long Range Transportation Plan and Regional Capital Investment Strategy. • The consultant should have a multi-disciplinary team with a minimum of ten years of experience.
