3rd Party Materials Testing and Special Inspection Services

The Town of East Greenwich is seeking an Independent Inspection and Testing Agency (ITA) to provide special inspection and testing services for the East Greenwich Public Schools construction project. The project includes two new construction elementary schools and renovations/additions at the high school. The ITA will be responsible for providing all supervision, personnel, labor, materials, supplies, and equipment to perform the services described in the RFQ/P. The scope of work includes special inspection coordinator services, field inspection, and testing services. • The ITA shall conform to the applicable requirements of the American Council of Independent Laboratories and ASTM E329. • The ITA shall provide a qualified special inspection coordinator who shall have the minimum qualifications indicated in the Statement of Special Inspection. • The ITA shall observe the work assigned for conformance with the approved drawings and specifications and shall keep records of inspections or tests. • The ITA shall furnish inspection reports to the Architect, SER, Construction Manager/General Contractor, Owner, and the Building Official.
