RFQ for Mechanical Engineering Design Services

Orange County Schools is seeking a mechanical engineering design services firm to provide a like-in-kind replacement of the existing HVAC system at A.L. Stanback Middle School. The selected firm will be required to outline an alternative HVAC design approach, maintain operational simplicity, reduce overall project cost, construction impact, and schedule disruption, and integrate a modern building controls system to improve operational efficiency and performance. The firm will need to provide a statement of qualifications, including a letter of interest, submittal content, project experience, client references, staff resumes, and other relevant information. The selection committee will evaluate the statements of qualification and select a short list of firms to participate in an oral presentation and interview. The district reserves the right to negotiate with other qualified firms if an agreement cannot be reached with the top-ranked firm.
