Description
Gwinnett County is seeking a qualified pest‑control contractor to provide comprehensive exterminating services on an annual contract covering more than 200 county‑owned facilities, including correctional complexes, fire stations, sheriff’s office, water‑resource plants, libraries, parks, and other municipal buildings. The contractor must perform routine preventative‑maintenance (PM) treatments, on‑demand emergency pest‑control, wildlife exclusion, and periodic specialized services (quarterly, semi‑annual, annual) while meeting strict response‑time, safety, documentation, and insurance requirements. The contract runs for one year initially with up to four one‑year renewal options, and the award will go to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder.
• Scope includes interior/exterior treatments for insects, rodents, termites, bed‑bugs, and nuisance wildlife across all listed facilities.
• Must provide 24‑hour field response for emergencies, 30‑day callbacks at no extra charge, and detailed post‑service reporting (signatures, MSDS, photos).
• Requires extensive insurance (GL $2 M, Auto $1 M, Umbrella up to $10 M), E‑Verify background checks for all personnel, and electronic invoicing per county procedures.
